Andrew's New Haircut

Earlier this week we took Andrew to go get his hair cut. We opted to go super short so that we wouldn’t have to cut it again for my upcoming maternity session. I still don’t recognize my own child. He looks like his daddy now!! Jared of course LOVES his new hair cut but I am anxiously waiting for his hair to grow back!!! My little boy is growing up…

On Friday my wonderful new camera arrived. I absolutely love it! I took Andrew to the mall for a mini photo shoot. He wasn’t exactly thrilled bu he had fun playing with the water and watching the rollercoaster. My new camera got a little scratch on it’s protective lcd screen cover… kinda bummed about that but it was going to happen eventually! There are so many more buttons and options its overwhelming but I’m having fun with it! Here are some photos from our little session….

I have been wanting and begging for Jared to let me get a new camera. I’m happy to announce that I have a d300 on it’s way to me and should be in my hands next week on friday. I’m hoping it arrives sooner but I’m just happy it’s coming!!! My d50 is all packed up and ready to ship out to it’s new mama who I hope loves it!! Did I mention that I love my husband?? I know it was hard for the words OK to come out of his mouth about getting a new camera for me and I’m sure he’ll dangle that when he wants to say have poker night but I suppose I can handle that anyways… here are some flower shots from easter.. the first is from my little rose bush that blooms seriously only in the spring. It’s called American Beauty. It’s pink and smells wonderful!

and this is from my grandma’s garden… I have no idea what it is but it reminds me of a pineapple!

on a side note…. keep your fingers crossed that I passed my glucose test!!! Lexi and I really don’t want to have to give up sugar!

Little Miss Kaylee

Two weeks ago my best friend Jen gave birth to her little girl, Kaylee. I was shocked to get the text message at 3:30am that Kaylee couldn’t wait! She was five weeks early and a whopping 5lbs, 6oz!! I was able to go visit at the hospital and take some photos which I love and hope that Jen loves! The slideshow of the hospital photos makes me all emotional (gotta love pregnancy hormones) here is one from the hospital…
