5 on Friday!

yipee for Friday! This week feels like it went by super fast!

1. Dr. gave me the ok to venture out more so I’m excited to be driving and running short errands! I feel as if I got some of my freedom back! I feel like she is going to be here soon though or maybe that’s just wishful thinking?

2. I love my son he is just so adorable and he has been super loving towards my baby belly just a little while ago he was playing with my belly trying to get Lily to play!

3.  I’ve discovered my artistic side… this week I finished wall letters for both Andrew and Liliana! I even made some matching frames for her room! This weekend we’re going to start painting the house… I’m excited! Jared has been letting me decorate FINALLY!

4.  We finally think we know why andrew say ow to his tummy randomly… he has sympathy pains for me!! we were eating dinner tonight and he said ow touched his tummy and said my baby. aw!

5. Being pregnant has its perks… we went to gasp taco bell tonight and the manager gave us free drinks and when I went to order some desserts he gave them to me for free! I can’t believe I ate all that I did and the scary thing is I don’t even feel full!!!

Here are some photos from our memorial day weekend!! We took Andrew to the park and daddy pushed him on the swing. He LOVED it!! He was laughing as daddy ran underneath him He’s totally rockin’ the socks with sandals look! He didn’t like the mulch touching his feet through his sandals!!

ok so I missed 5 on Friday…. but that’s because we were driving up to Austin!  Today I had a maternity session with Elle from Ella Bella Photography (see my blog roll) it was such a different experience being in front of the camera rather than behind!! I’m anxiously awaiting the sneak peek! Austin is completely different from San Antonio. Lots of colored walls and interesting people! One thing that has amused us while being here is how dogs are EVERYWHERE! Andrew loves that though! I’m sitting in the hotel room as it’s raining… thankfully the weather was sunny earlier today!  This week has been full of projects for me. I knitted YES knitted a little hat, a cocoon bowl, and a hanging pouch. Oh… and I finished painting Andrew’s new wall letters. I’ll have to post some photos later of all my projects when I get back home. Little Lily is being a good girl and staying put! I have a feeling she’s going to be a long baby she’s run out of room in my tummy!!  I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Take care!

ok so this is my first time doing this… I’ve been looking forward to this all week to post!!!

1. Bedrest… it sounds so relaxing and wonderful but in reality it’s frustrating. I want to do all these things since I have so much time on my hands since I am on leave from work. Yesterday Andrew and I drove up the street to get the mail becuase I HAD to drive… shh It’s really weird how when you can drive you get sick of driving and when you can’t suddenly you want to.

2. My child is going to have a name complex… I can’t decide Liliana or Alexis. I go back and forth I want to name her Liliana but my mind still wants to say Lexi. Someone name my child… please!

3.  I’m really hungry ALL the time. More than a pregnant gal should be and I can’t work out at the moment so yeah… gotta get some healthy fulfilling snacks… ideas anyone??

4.  I love my ju ju be bags… I like to just look at them. I sold a couple and I have a little something on it’s way for a special friend.  In a couple more weeks I’ll finally be able to carry my perky bespicy!! I need a ju ju be anonymous group.

5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my d300 it seriously makes me happy. I love the way the shutter snaps so quickly! It was my um self given mother’s day gift that I got early. I tend to do that… buy something and look at Jared so lovingly and say put it towards my mothers day gift! We’ll see what happens when my new stroller and car seat adaptor show up… gotta make room to um “hide” the boxes!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Just wanted to tell everyone happy mother’s day! It’s been one week since I went into preterm labor.  Last Sunday my little girl made an attempt for an early debut but thankfully my doctor and the nurses were able to stop the contractions.  I’ve been put on bedrest until 35 weeks so I’ve spent a lot of time updating the blog this weekend (like the new look?) amongst sitting on the couch….It’s hard to believe that our little girl could make her debut any day but hopefully she’ll wait a few more weeks!!!
