It has been awhile since I have shared some recent work. I apologize for that! The day job has been busy busy but thankfully only 10 more weeks and then it is summer vacation and hopefully lots of sessions! I want to share the mini photo album that will be a gift with the purchase of a collection. This is from a recent newborn session. I am in love with this album!! Planning to make one of my own baby girl.

The album will be designed based on your session so no worries if you have a handsome little boy! These albums are a great way to have photos from your session with you at all times to show off to family and friends. Until next time… have a happy Easter!

You might recall my gorgeous friend Wendy’s maternity photos… well this is her beautiful baby boy Gavin. He is definitely a little rockstar! Took us a couple attempts to get this photo but I think it was worth it. He has some gorgeous eyes! Congrats Wendy and Thomas he is beautiful!

I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. Ever since she was born I have been in awe of her. It was at times a difficult pregnancy and labor was much more painful than when I gave birth to my son but the outcome was beautiful. My son wasn’t too sure about this new little being in our lives but as he came to visit us at the hospital he started to get attached to her and for the first time he told me I love you Mommy without being prompted or begged to say it. We’ve been home for just over a week and he is so in love with his little sister. When he wakes up in the morning she’s the first gal he wants to see and if she’s still sleeping he wants her awake! This week I’ve been taking lots of photos of my little girl and I’ve been trying to get a good one of my two babies. Here is one that I have gotten so far. I just love how he is looking at her and holding her hand.

She has such a great big brother and I am so blessed to not only have them in my lives but to have a husband that has been so helpful. Tomorrow isn’t our wedding anniversary (that was the day after our little girl was born) but it marks 9 years that we have been together. I truly have been blessed.

We are finally home and getting settled into life as a family of four. It has been absolutely wonderful and I am just in awe of my little girl and how loving her big brother is to her. It’s also amazing to see him in a new way. He’s always been my little boy and now he just seems so much bigger, his feet are chubby and his little hands aren’t so little anymore! It’s nice to know that he still needs his mama though! We had some snuggle time on the couch together today which was so sweet! Today I made an effort to get started on her newborn photos, there are so many that I want to take and I want to get some shots with her and her big brother too! I’m having a lot of fun! Here are two of our little princess.

Little Miss Kaylee

Two weeks ago my best friend Jen gave birth to her little girl, Kaylee. I was shocked to get the text message at 3:30am that Kaylee couldn’t wait! She was five weeks early and a whopping 5lbs, 6oz!! I was able to go visit at the hospital and take some photos which I love and hope that Jen loves! The slideshow of the hospital photos makes me all emotional (gotta love pregnancy hormones) here is one from the hospital…
